Abstract: New Educational Pricing Brings Cross-Platform Development and Web Services to Colleges and Universities
SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif., July 3, 2001 - Borland Software Corporation (Nasdaq NM: BORL), a leading provider of
e-business implementation platform solutions, today announced new educational pricing for its suite of award-winning rapid
application development (RAD) environments -- Borland® Delphi6 and Kylix, as well as its number one rated Java development environment -- Borland® JBuilder. Borland now offers educational editions of these products at special prices for colleges and universities to instruct students using best of breed development environments and to introduce cross-platform solutions to students before they enter the work force.
Delphi 6 and Kylix are RAD environments that allow users to quickly and easily build e-business applications for both the Windows® and Linux® operating environments (OE).
