New Educational Pricing Brings Cross-Platform Development and Web

application development (RAD) environments -- Borland® Delphi6 and Kylix, as well as its number one rated Java development environment -- Borland® JBuilder. Borland now offers educational editions of these products at special prices for colleges and universities to instruct students using best of breed development environments and to introduce cross-platform solutions to students before they enter the work force.
Delphi 6 and Kylix are RAD environments that allow users to quickly and easily build e-business applications for both the Windows® and Linux® operating environments (OE). Borland Delphi 6 Enterprise Educational edition and the Professional Educational edition are available immediately, and specially-priced at $399 and $99 respectively. In early July, Borland Kylix Server Developer Educational edition and the Desktop Educational edition will be available and priced at $399 and $99 respectively.
