Problem:
Getting error:

fatal lock manager error: inconsistent lock table version number

Possible cause is an application that was compiled or linked 
with another version of InterBase, one that had a different 
lock table version. 

Solution:
Try using gds_drop -a to drop the lock manager table. Also try 
getting rid of the semaphores. 

Most of the time it is an inconsistency in one of the InterBase 
subsystems or its resources.  Try rebooting the machine to 
clear all InterBase resources and restarting the InterBase server.
