Eclipse announcements at the 2006 Embedded Systems Conference (ESC 2006)

Abstract: At ESC 2006, in San Jose, the Eclipse Foundation announced new project initiatives and releases for the Device Software Development Platform (DSDP), Mobile Tools for the Java Platform (MTJ) , and C/C++ Development Tools (CDT) projects.

Two weeks ago, the third annual Eclipse Conference was held at the Santa Clara Convention Center. This week, the Eclipse Foundation is at the Embedded Systems Conference (ESC 2006) at the San Jose Convention Center.

At ESC 2006, the Eclipse Foundation announced new project initiatives and subproject releases for the Device Software Development Platform (DSDP), Device Debugging (DD) Project, Native Application Builder (NAB) Project, Target Management (TM) Project, Mobile Tools for the Java Platform (MTJ) Project, and the next release of the C/C++ Development Tools (CDT) projects. These announcements further extend Eclipse's support for developers of mobile, device, and embedded systems.
