About the Course:
Borland has recently introduced Delphi, a new exciting development tool for visual programming in a client/server environment. This course is designed to introduce the student to the extensive capabilities of Delphi and teach the student how to successfully develop a simple application using it. This is an intensive lecture/hands-on course and requires the student to have a copy of Delphi to complete the class assignment between class sessions. Topics include:
- Object Oriented Programming using Delphi
- Designing a Delphi Application
- Designing a Delphi Database Application.
This course is designed for Developers/Programmers, IS/IT Manager, and Client/Server Professionals who are familiar with other programming/development tools and are looking to transition to Delphi to develop applications in the client/server environment. After completion, the student will understand the basic and key features of Delphi, and will be capable of creating a complete real-world business application.

About the Course:
As the second course in the Delphi series, this course will extend his or her mastery of the extensive capabilities of Delphi. The student will be able to use these capabilities to implement more complex applications using Delphi. This is mostly an intensive lecture course with a limited amount of hands-on training. To get the most out of the course the student will need a copy of Delphi to complete the assignment at home. Topics include:
- Object-Pascal Programming
- Dynamic Data Exchange, Dynamic Link Libraries, Object Linking and Embedding
- Delphi 2.0 features
- Client/Server System Implementation
Prior experience in Delphi or completion of "Delphi Application Development I" is required.
