Abstract: InterClient 1.5.1 resolves the problem
When I attempt to connect with InterClient to my Linux 6.0 beta
superserver it fails with the following error:
[interclient][interbase]Connection lost to pipe server
operating system directive stat failed
No such file or directory
Why won't the connection succeed?
** Update 24-MAY-2000 **
A new InterClient 1.51 kit has been released to fix this problem. Visit
the InterBase downloads section on www.interbase.com to download
the new kit.
The new InterClient kit will work with both the Superserver and Classic
6.0 beta kits for Linux.
** Explanation of error **
The InterServer was compiled against an InterBase classic server for linux.
The library that it was compiled against doesn't exist on the linux
superserver kit, which is why you get the "No such file or directory"
