Problem:
How to deploy 16-bit local InterBase without BDE?  



Solution:
IB V4.x

The 16-bit local InterBase deployment includes installation of 16-bit local InterBase
and BDE. See Readdk.txt for more details.  

Here are the two workarounds to deploy local InterBase which do not include BDE:

1)  Write your own installation routine to install just local InterBase.  The files
required are listed in Readdk.txt.

2)  Install the local Interbase deployment kit and remove all files related to BDE  (see
     the Readdk.txt for details).
