So you will buy XE 3 Pro like I did in March and then find out that you not only have to pay $49 to upgrade to XE 4 but that you will also have to pay $449 for the low cost add-on. I hope you waited.

I see XE4 is being announced with, wait for it, iOS support!!! Really, wasn't that announced back in XE2? What we really need is Android, as the market has already gone there. So in late XE4, or maybe XE5 we will have the first "Android" support, and I suppose wait until XE6 or XE7 for real support - ie no phonegap, html5 etc - real code running natively.Very frustrated - want to use my Delphi skills in Android but this is becoming laughable... And sad.

Very cool going into iOS and AndroidBUTYou need to put a 60 Days evaluation or money back guarantee before most of us will put $1500 on a prototype. Please bare in mind that as much as we love Delphi, there are many platforms to Android that offers development platforms for free with large growing community and known apps as well as many source code examples.please see "Phone Gap", "Appcelerator" for examples.I prefer Delphi, but I want to see real apps first with source code. Thanks and I relay hope this will succeed.

RAD Studio Mobile Roadmap

Why do I have to have a Delphi XE3 in order to be able to beta test the iOS addon? Is it so impossible to make a trial version for it, like for any other tool? I own a Delphi XE and I am curious for the mobile addon, but not that curious that I would buy a new product before I can drive-test it. It's like I want to buy a car stereo, but in order to test it I would need to buy a new car first, and then I can do the testing for the stereo. That's ridiculous. There should be a XE3.5 trial version for anybody who wants to try it. I will buy the XE3.5 if I am pleased with it (after testing). But how can I test it if there is no trial version except for XE3 owners only??!?!
