Coming Soon - Delphi Prism Support for Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and .NET 4.0

Embarcadero Technologies, a leading provider of multi-platform database tools and developer software and a Visual Studio Industry Partner, plans to simultaneously ship Delphi Prism with Visual Studio 2010 prior to May 30, 2010.

With access to the Delphi Prism language, Visual Studio 2010 users will be able to take advantage of additional features not found in other .NET languages. They will also have improved database connectivity to Embarcadero’s InterBase® and Blackfish™ SQL databases, as well as the ability to create DataSnap® clients in .NET that connect to Delphi DataSnap servers for multi-tier applications.

Embarcadero’s upcoming Delphi Prism release will be based on Visual Studio 2010 Shell IDE, so developers will benefit from a redesigned IDE with improved usability and code readability, enhanced code editing, and improved IDE performance. It will also include full support for .NET 4.0, including support for parallel programming, faster performance, and expanded security capabilities.
