If you have not heard about All-Access, then it is high time to give it a try. Embarcadero All-Access provides all the application development and database tools you need - when you need them - across all major platforms, frameworks, and programming languages. Downloading the All-Access Client
The first thing is to download the All-Access client from the Embarcadero website. Enter the following link into your browser https://downloads.embarcadero.com/free/aa_client and you should see a web page similar to the one below:
There are three simple steps to follow:
Step 1: Download the “All-Access” client application. It is about 60 MB big.
Step 2: Sign-in into the EDN (http://edn.embarcadero.com). If you do not have an EDN account, you need to create one. It is free and it is very easy.
Step 3: Check Email for auto-generated message with subject: “Embarcadero Product Registration” that contains information about the next steps.
Install the All-Access Client
Install the All-Access Client by double-clicking the file that you downloaded earlier. (If you do not want to install there is also a zero-install version of the client available from the location mentioned in the auto-generated email.)
Activate Your All-Access Trial
When the client is installed, just start it from your “Programs” menu. Then after accepting the trial license agreements, click on "Get Trial Licenses” at the bottom of the Client window to activate your trial.
On the "Get Trial Licenses" screen, enter your Embarcadero Developer Network (EDN) login information and click "Request Trial". Voila! You’ll have access to our full suite of products for a full 30 days. Enjoy!
The All-Access Client will be automatically populated with a 30-day All-Access trial, covering all of the included products.
“Charge” Your All-Access Client
At this stage you can start downloading products using the All-Access Client. Clicking on the product name inside of the All-Access Client initiates a download of a product you want to try. Products will be saved locally the first time they are run - a process we call "charging". You may request more than one download at a time, however depending on your network bandwidth this may impact the amount of time it takes for a download to complete.
When you buy a new mobile, you typically leave it over night to charge batteries. A similar thing you need to do with your All-Access client, but this time you have to charge it with tools.
Run tools of Your choice!
When the All-Access Client is “charged” – meaning that all products have been downloaded locally to your machine, you can run the product(s). After the download of a product has completed, click on the product in the All-Access Client to launch that product. If you downloaded the product installer, then the product will install itself the first time you click to run.
