Abstract: This article lists community member entries in the CodeGear video competition. The final results are announced and the winners determined.
The results of the first CodeGear video competition are in. I want to thank the community members who created videos and uploaded them to YouTube. I also want to thank the community members who viewed, favorited, and rated the videos.

Winners were chosen by a total point score made up of YouTube ratings, YouTube views, and YouTube favorites.

The point score algorithm is:
Total Points =
(10* the # of YouTube views)
+ (20* the # of YouTube favorites)
+ (50 * number of YouTube whole stars).
