CodeGear Europe is holding a FREE two day event that consists of eight online technical sessions that will provide information, insight and practical advice on some of the key technology areas for developers today. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask the experts. All sessions will be held in the English language.

Fredrik Haglund –Lead Delphi Evangelist - CodeGear Europe

In this session Fredrik will take attendees through some of the new features that will affect developers as you either develop new applications on Windows Vista or as you migrate and test existing applications to run. Demonstrations will include showing Delphi 2007 for Win32 running on Windows Vista and using many of the new components, properties and features that come with this new version of Windows.

    11.30 Building Quality into your C++Builder Applications

In this session, Jason will take a look through the aspects of the C++ development cycle where C++Builder 2007 assists the developer with building quality into their applications. This will include integrated unit testing, built in runtime debugging, build configurations and more.

From this session, attendees will gain a grasp of the overall process of how to both inherit from and develop from scratch to provide their own custom Delphi for PHP components. Taking the session from first principles, through to a real-world working example using eBay's PHP services This session provides the vital link between PHP scripting and developing well engineered, object oriented, component based solutions using this very powerful Web development technology platform.

In this session attendees will be taken through an overview of the upcoming Ruby IDE that is being developed by CodeGear. Attendees will then provide an online demonstration using an example of a blogging application to show how why so many Ruby developers are incredibly excited about how productive they are going to be.

    10.00 Tracing/Debugging/Testing Win32 Web Services

In this session, Bob will demonstrate how to use Delphi 2007 to write code to debug, trace, and test Win32 Web Service engines as well as clients. Among the techniques that will be demonstrated are the Web App Debugger, the OnBefore and OnAfterExecute events of the THTTPRio, as well as the OnBefore and OnAfterDispatch events of the THTTPSoapPascalInvoker, and finally the use of DUnit for (unit) testing Web Service engines.

    11.30 DBX4 Database Development After the BDE

In this Web Seminar, attendees will be led through the new DBX4 Database Architecture that now ships with Delphi 2007 for Win32 and C++Builder 2007.     14.00 Visually developing for Java Web Services and JEE

Jon Harrison – Lead Java Evangelist - CodeGear Europe

In this session, attendees will be taken through how easy it can be to visually develop for the latest Java and AppServer platforms and how to get the most from the Graphical EJB Workbench in JBuilder 2007. Attendees will also be taken through how to take this to the next level using the Web Services Designer to publish your AppServer functionality as a service.

    15.30 Using AJAX in your Delphi Web Applications

One of the exciting new capabilities to come with the latest releases of both Delphi and C++Builder has been the addition of AJAX capability. With VCL for Web it is now easier and faster than ever to create Web applications that support AJAX.
