CodeGear Delphi and C++Builder Roadmap Community Chat & Demos - June 19,20,21,and 22
We invite you to attend a series of community presentations during the week of June 18th that will focus on the recently unveiled Delphi and C++Builder product roadmaps. These presentations will also demonstrate some of the new capabilities in Delphi 2007 for Win32 and C++Builder 2007. We will also take your questions about the current versions of CodeGear products and the product roadmaps.

The same presentation will be given during each of the sessions. You are invited to attend one or more of the sessions. There may be different demos and questions as we move through the week. We are holding multiple sessions at different times during the week to give our global developer customers enough choices for time and date to be able to attend, learn and interact with CodeGear employees.

JBuilder 2007 release 2
JBuilder 2007 release 2 is now available - with new features and pricing including expanded platform support for Microsoft Windows XP and Vista as well as Mac OSX and RedHat Linux. Also added are support for Borland Enterprise Server in the LiveSource Visual EJB workbench, and Borland ALM and CVS are now supported in TeamInsight.
JBuilder 2007 combines the advantages of an Eclipse open source platform with rich developer productivity features, application performance analysis and tuning, and team development along with new pricing to make it easy and cost effective for individual, small business and enterprise developers to develop fast and reliable applications for Java, open source, and the web.
In a recent InfoWorld comparative review of Java IDEs, CodeGear's JBuilder 2007 product received the highest marks, surpassing similar offerings from IBM and Sun: "It's safe to say that CodeGear decided to throw everything it had at this release - and succeeded brilliantly. (It) provides tremendous bang for the buck," - InfoWorld editor and analyst, Andrew Binstock.
JBuilder 2007 is available in three editions: 1) JBuilder 2007 Enterprise Edition - for enterprise developers and collaborative teams, 2) JBuilder 2007 Edition - for individual developers and small development teams, and 3) Turbo JBuilder 2007 - free, turnkey Eclipse-based Java IDE.
The new editions of JBuilder are compatible with previous editions, so you can leverage current applications development investments while capitalizing on the new JBuilder capabilities and growing Eclipse ecosystem of plug-ins.
JBuilder 2007 Enterprise Edition:
The JBuilder 2007 Enterprise Edition adds Team Server capabilities as part of TeamInsight - including new support for Windows XP and Windows 2003 servers with this new release. Team Server is a complete collaborative development server that includes integrated tracking, source code management, project planning, and continuous integration - allowing team members to easily monitor and manage project activity and progress. Current JBuilder developers can upgrade to the new JBuilder Enterprise Edition for $750, Enterprise Edition is available to new users for $1,499.
JBuilder 2007 Edition:
The new JBuilder 2007 release 2 offers all the developer-focused features of the previous Developer and Professional editions, including Optimizeit for memory and CPU profiling and performance tuning; LiveSource for Java with full two-way code and visual code diagramming - and adds a two-way visual EJB Designer and two-way visual Web Services designer, which helps to increase the productivity of Java developers and teams. Special upgrade pricing of $250 enables developers to cost-effectively take advantage of the increased capabilities of this new edition. New user price is $499.
Turbo JBuilder:
Turbo JBuilder 2007 offers a free, turnkey, developer-focused and Eclipse-based Java IDE which can easily be upgraded with JBuilder's RAD productivity, code performance, and team development features.
