Abstract: Alexandra Jarvis, an 11 year old 5th grader from Melbourne, Australia, builds a homework tracking application with ECO III and DeXter
Presented by: Alexandra Jarvis
Alexandra Jarvis, a 5th grader from Melbourne Australia, shows how ECO III, coming in the DeXter release of Delphi, makes application development, in her own words, "Child's play."
According to Alexandra, "ECO is an easy to learn program that makes writing applications ten times easier than any other program. In this presentation I'm gonna show you how to make a simple application using (the fabulous) ECO."
Alexandra's original, unedited and unprompted description of ECO
Alexandra is the daughter of Tim Jarvis, a Borland Senior Consultant and Technical Account Manager based in Melbourne, Australia. Alexandra stopped by Dad's office one morning, and she recorded this presentation at 4pm that same day. Tim says it took most of the day because "I wanted her to understand ECO, not just remember the steps, so we didn't have any crib notes, etc." during the recording.
