Abstract: John Kaster presents a replay of the ECO portion of the MDA seminar Borland provided in the Asia Pacific region in Q3
Presented by: John Kaster
This is the first installment of a recording of my ECO presentation from the 2005 Asia Pac MDA tour where ECO II and Together 2006 were presented as Borland's solutions for MDA for .NET and Java, respectively. The presentations were live and in person throughout Asia, but this recording is made directly from my notebook PC and a microphone, so there is only a virtual audience for this presentation.
In this episode, I create a UML package in C#, use that package in a Microsoft .NET Windows Form application, and extend it to support master/detail grids. Along the way, much of the architecture and concepts behind ECO is explained.
This is a slightly new format for BDNtv episodes, where major parts of the recording can be accessed directly by name from a table of contents. Please let me know whether or not you like this format. Thanks very much!
