more manageable and repeatable business process. Borland’s vision for

Borland solutions to be used at Carnegie
Mellon's top ranked computer science graduate program
Borland recently
announced that we have donated more than $1 million worth of
Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solutions to Carnegie Mellon
University for use in student product development simulations for its
Software Engineering Master’s Program. Borland’s ALM solutions will
begin to be used this year by Software Engineering Masters candidates
at Carnegie Mellon’s West Coast campus in Moffett Field, Calif.
Students in Carnegie Mellon’s Software Engineering and Software
Development and Management program work together in teams on authentic,
yet simulated, product development projects during which they will be
required to analyze and select the best development tool(s) required
for specific tasks, justify their choices to the faculty and apply the
chosen tools to complete their project.
