I can't understand why it is not available for everybody for evaluation.I am using Delphi 5, and I do not have any indication that I should upgrade to Delphi 6. It could be that I should be convinced to upgrade, should I have such documentation available.Avi

In my decision regarding the purchase of Delphi8 (upgrading it from Delphi7) the quality of the documentation would play a significant role. Therefore, I would like to have a chance to look at this file before I become "a registered user". Why the download option is available to "Delphi 8 registered users" only?

Re : DocumentationWould have been nice to have an index I purched the 7/8 edition and use mainly edition /Version 7In D8 help is often wrong and there is no documentation, makes it very hard to use and now D9 is due out and 8 is a long way from fininsed. Makes it very hard for some users who are not full time programers. What you have done is introduce a whole lot of new technology and failed totally to document it.Further there are very few books on the market about D8. and literally bookcases full on the Micro$oft product(s) Visual Studio .netI hope Borland start writing manuals for this and especially D9. Further I prefer Paper Documentation and I feel Borland should start making that option availiable again on all aspects of their products. Some clients may not need that help........ BUT others find manuals and other documentation essential. Full sets of manuals (Form basic to advanced) should have been availiable form first release of D8.Ralph Knight
