Delphi8 versus Delphi7

I wrote last time a comment to this topic. I tried Delphi8 again, but I see the same disadvantages in practice: Delphi8 does not allow to see the whole main form during development - similar to the MS Visual Studio. Why has Borland given up this really excelent feature of Delphi32 ? And where is the fine icon editor? And so on. I think there is a need for many improvements of Delphi.NET!

Delphi8 versus Delphi7

A first look on Delphi8 shows a significant difference between D8 and D7: The form designer can not cover the whole screen, therefore it is very hard to create a well designed user interface. The apearance of the Delphi7 form designer was a great advantage in contrast to the MS Studio. The new designer of Galileo is a grave disadvantage of D8 in contrast to D2...D7. Firstly this makes some develpments more difficult, and secondly: why then D8 and not C# with MS Studio.NET?Walter
