Don't you think your comments are a little too harsh? How much experience have you had doing in-depth Delphi development, anyway? I myself have developed using VB (from v2.0 right up to VB.NET), C# (was interested since it was initially announced), and C++ using Visual Studio (v5, 6, .NET). Let me assure you that VS.NET still has a WAY to go to match Delphi's depth as a fully matured programming language with all the bells & whistles. As an example of what I mean, let me give you a challenge, and let's keep it simple (i.e., keep it to WinForms for .NET, win32 for Delphi):The PageControl you find in Delphi is analoguous to the TabControl in .NET. Try to make the actual tab buttons invisible, while keeping the tabsheets themselves visible. In Delphi, you do this simply by setting the TTabSheet.TabVisible := False. Tell me, how do you do this in .NET? And how easy did you find it to do? (It can be done, by the way, just that it's like pulling your teeth out). Naturally I can give you pageloads of more cases, but I'll hold that off for now.And by the way, did you take the time to count how many controls VS.NET (Enterprise Architect, no less!) provides for you to build your "professional" projects with? A whopping 65, last time I counted. Talk about VALUE, ha!Rather than poisoning this forum with your negativity, why don't you spend your time where you will be much happier off, on a M$ site somewhere?

If Kylix is so important, why it disappeared from both - bdn.borland.com and- community.borland.com It is very unclear for me what Borland is going to do with Kylix (mainly because of .NET and cooperation with MS), so in my opinion the Open Letter about Kylix should be published too.Borland has released C++Builder X and C#Builder. I hope this is only a metter of time we will see next (Builder / Delphi / CLX) for Linux. At least bug fixes....
