Registration problem: Repeating registration wizard with JBuilder 6

Abstract: Explanation of why the Registration Wizard might appear each time the product is launched
Question:
After proceeding through the Registration Wizard for JBuilder 6 I finally receive
a message:
Registration has completed successfully
When I click next, however, the first screen of the registration wizard appears
again (indicating that I should register); the permanent license file is not
created.
Answer:
This behavior will occur if the serial number you are attempting to use does
not match the product that was installed. For example, if JBuilder 6 Professional
was installed, but you attempted to use a JBuilder 6 Enterprise serial number,
the product would fail to register and the Registration Wizard will repeatedly
appear. To fix this, use the serial number matches the product that is installed.
