Delphi 6 Registered Users eXtreme Toybox

Delphi 6 registered users can now download the first of the Delphi 6 extreme toys from the Borland web site. Extreme toys are special unsupported bonuses from the RAD team - wizards, experts, components, and other extras for making your Delphi development easier and more fun!

Descriptions of the first three are listed below. There will be more coming, probably right after BorCon!

CompilerWarnings.zip

The Compiler Warnings Expert adds itself to your IDE as a quick means to turn the various compiler warnings on and off. Working on a project-to-project basis, this expert saves you the time of having to insert compiler declarations into your code directly, and can prevent unecessary or unwanted warnings from appearing at compile-time.

Invokable.zip

Invokamatic Wizard for Web Services - go from zero to Web Service in 60 seconds flat! This wizard makes it possible to create a new webservice with Delphi 6 Enterprise in moments, generating the code units for implementation and interface to your service, ready to receive your custom code. If you already have a class designed for your web service, you'll be on the internet in Delphi time!

SearchWiz.zip

The DelphiSearch Wizard installs as a design-time package in the IDE, to show up in your help menu. The DelphiSearch will rifle the web for your Delphi-specific topic, scanning several predefined websites as well as ones you specify! Results will be presented either in the browser window of the dockable dialog, or in your default browser - find the information you need in a hurry!

If you are a registered user, you can get your extreme toys from http://www.borland.com/delphi/webreg/registeredusers.html

We'll get articles posted that describe how to use these extreme toys as soon as we get back from BorCon.
