There hasn't been an update to sourceforge's FreeCLX in 14 months!!It's completely unusable in it's current condition with Kylix 3. When are all Borland's internal changes going to get written back to CVS on SourceForge?

If I'm not mistaken, you could use WinCvs' Diff feature. Just make sure that you aren't using an external diff program.Taking into account that nobody from Borland takes time to review these comments, I guess they do use telepathy to reply to our questions, but I guess I'm Toydarian, mind tricks don't work on me :)

I am trying to 'get to it'.Having submitted a bug and having compiled a patched version of QGraphics,I am willing to take the steps described under 'Submission Ground Rules'.However:1. I don't have a diff program. Couldn't easily find one on the Web either.I suppose Borland could help getting one (provide a link; Windows version)?2. in step 5: "When you are at the point of having yoursubmission accepted we will contact you with more details"How will Borland know when I am at that point? Sounds like telepathy to me. Could the be described a little more elaborately please?

Can anyone point to a location where clear description of what is going to be open sourced can be found? It's been somewhat unclear whether NetCLX will be open sourced as well as GUI CLX. From the contents of CVS tree at SourceForge it doesn't seem that NetCLX will be open. Just wanted to point out that keeping NetCLX closed source would be a major mistake. Much more people would probably want to use NetCLX for Web development on Linux than for desktop development, but I don't think that it will ever become a significant web development technology on Linux landscape if one should buy Server edition of Kylix in order to use it. PHP is extremely popular, it's got tons of books published about it and it's free. There are as many open source Web projects out there as desktop projects for Linux, there are much more open source Linux developers than "closed" ones. Keeping NetCLX closed source would take away any chances of Kylix ever becoming a significant Web development tool on Linux.

I think it's great Borland has made the FreeCLX source code available so Borland developers can participate in the development.Obviously, for many years we've wanted this to happen. I always thought it would be a good day the day Borland did this. How about putting links to the various Borland SourceForge projects at the top (or somewhere) on the main Borland Community homepage, and perhaps even on the main Borland.com homepage.
