re: Fedora Core 2 version OK? 4 relative novice user

Hmm...I've managed to install Kylix on FC1 and then upgraded to FC2. The IDE starts up fine, I can create forms/projects/etc. The only problem I've been having is compiling programs. There appears to be conflicts between Borland's include files and FC2's GCC include files. Specifically, it appears that the macro "__BEGIN_STD_NAMESPACE" is not being defined in "/usr/include/time.h" and probably several other files as well.Guess no one else has tried it?

The setup script that kylix uses (setup.sh) looks in a standard place for libgtk (/usr/lib). I installed libgtk under /opt/gnome/lib and the setup script gave the same message. I altered the the script so that it looks in the right place and it all works fine now.
