I have installed Inprise Application Server (IAS) 4.1 under RedHat Linux 6.2 but the some of the commandline tools, such as the Inprise Application Server Console, fail to launch.

Answer:

If you did not install Korn Shell with RedHat 6.2 the IAS Korn Shell scripts, which are required to launch Server Console, will fail to run.  To fix this, try installing Korn Shell from the RedHat installation CD.
