Problem:
Gets ** QLI error: expected left parenthesis, encountered 
"file" ** error after  CREATE TABLE EXTERNAL FILE 
statement within QLI.

Solution:
The information in this article applies to:

* InterBase 3.x
* InterBase 4.x

QLI doesn't support the EXTERNAL FILE option 
of the CREATE TABLE statement.  The same
statement works fine in WISQL and ISQL.
