Problem:
The license file is missing or incorrect.
Solution:
The information in this article applies to:

* InterBase v5.x
Make sure that you have a valid license file for your system.
For Unix:
----------------
1) verify that the file exists
isc_license.dat [Version 4.x]
ib_license.dat [Version 5.x]
2) check to make sure that the entry in the file is correct by
running /usr/interbase/bin/iscinstall and entering the information
stored in the license file. If iscinstall returns successfully then
the license key is ok.
3) verify that the node id is correct for this machine (The node id is not
used for intel platforms). See Node ID Guide:
http://www.interbase.com/tech/docs/node.html
For NT, Win95:
----------------------
1) verify that the file exists in the interbase directory
ib_licen.dat [Version 4.x]
ib_license.dat [Version 5.x]
