What Are You Doing With The Borland C++ Compiler version 5.5 Download?

Scotts Valley, CA
Tuesday April 25, 2000

Many developers (and I mean thousands and thousands and thousands and ...) have downloaded our free Borland C++ Compiler version 5.5 command line tools.  It is exciting (to the C++ team) to see so much interest in our latest compiler. The Borland C++ Compiler 5.5 is the foundation for our integrated visual development environment, Borland C++Builder. Borland C++Builder seamlessly integrates the Borland C++ Compiler "under the hood".

If you've downloaded the compiler (Thank you very much), what are you doing with it?

Have you compiled any interesting programs?

Did you know that the Borland C++ Compiler passes 93% of the PlumHall C++ language conformance tests.  We've published a summary of the test results using our C++Builder 4 compiler.  We also provide a web application that let's you query the results of the tests to see which tests are passed, failed, or skipped.

Keep on Hacking with Borland C++ !!!
