can't see the compiler after installation..

I can see the .exe in the folder (c/Borland/BCC55/Bin/bcc32), but I'm also having trouble viewing the compiler after install. Double clicking bcc32 (849kb) yields a very quick glimpse of the black compiler screen but it disappears immediately. I'm running Vista Home Premium as an o.s. Suggestions? thanks, MG

NOTE: These path setting are if you installed the C++ compiler in C:/BCC55 instead of C:/Borland/BCC55I got this to run under XP and VISTAI use SC1.exe to edit and run C++ You can download it at: http://www.scintilla.org/SciTEDownload.htmlI'm not much of a C++ programmer, but I did get it to compile! You need to make .cfg files:Both go in the bin directory and look like this- 1) bccc32.cfg-I"C:\BCC55\INCLUDE"-L"C:\BCC55\LIB:C:\BCC55\LIB\PSDK"-P-v--w-DWINVER=0X0400-D_WIN32_WINNT=0x04002) ilink32.cfg-v--x-L"C:\BCC55\LIB;C:\BCC55\LIB\PSDK"3)StartBC.bat goes in BCC55 and looks like this=REM StartBC.bat in BCC55PATH=C:\BCC55\BIN;%PATH%DOSKEY /INSERTSTART C:\BCC55\BIN\Sc1.exe
