Abstract: Here are some examples showing how to use Direct3D with CBuilder

CBuilder Direct3D Examples

When using some of these examples, you will need to have the Microsoft DirectX SDK installed. The SDK is needed in some examples because it contains headers, lib files or the media files (bitmaps or dot x files) that are used by the sample code. You may also need to modify the method called AddMediaPath in the examples that are based on MS SDK sample programs. That method declares where on your hard drive the dot x files that ship with the SDK are located. As a rule the examples that I created should run as is, while the examples that are ports from the MS SDK need the SDK, the media files, and changes to the AddMediaPath method.
